Job Spot Chat: Home Health Jobs?

By Rosie Reilman, Internet Specialist

Hello Job Spot readers, Rosie here, the voice behind the Job Spot Chat. I got a message from one of our visitors yesterday and didn't get to answer the question. So, I wanted to share it with everyone who might have a similar question. Blake asks:

I am in the Home Health Medical field. What I do is manage Home Medical equipment. Like oxygen wheelchairs walkers and much, much more. It is hard to find jobs for this type of work on the Net. I am looking for a job in this field. I have been doing this for 20 years now. Can you help me find the right place to look on the net? Thank you.

Blake, thank you for your message. We have several resources that you can use to help you find the job you're looking for. Be sure to pick up The Employment Guide every week! This week in particular, we've got a whole section of healthcare job snippets. You can also check out our partner sites like, HealthCareerWeb.com which has all of our healthcare jobs posted to it and Jobalot.com which combines postings from several job boards. Then I'd suggest you look up career fairs in your area, just this week in Charleston we had a special healthcare section for our job fair!

More specifically, we have PSA Healthcare currently looking for LPNs and RNs. Palmetto Healthcare and Supplemental Healthcare are also participants in our job fair that are recruiting in various locations. Be sure to check out their corporate sites too for more position openings and locations! Sometimes searching for a job can be frustrating, so hang in there and best of luck! Let us know how it goes!

If you have any other questions related to your job search, jobs on EmploymentGuide.com or whatever it may be, go ahead the type it in that little box on the left, and we'll try and answer it as best we can!
